Licensing industry veteran, Steve Scebelo, has launched REP Worldwide, a sports and licensing consulting firm that seeks to work with licensors, agents and licensees to build and grow revenue through licensing.

Scebelo recently left NFL Players Inc. after 10+ years, during which he served first as vice president, licensing and business development, and then as president, forming partnerships with EA, Fanatics and Fanatics Collectibles and building an investment portfolio of 27 companies.

His new consulting business will give companies the opportunity to add Scebelo to their teams as a fractional chief licensing officer through which REP Worldwide will provide vision, strategic planning, assistance with negotiation, revenue forecasting, category management, creative collaborations and mentoring of licensing staff.

The original iteration of REP Worldwide was launched as an extension of NFL Players Inc. in 2017, led by Scebelo. The new consulting business will focus on areas that were original core components of REP, including women’s sports and athlete group licensing.

In addition to NFL Players Inc., Scebelo’s licensing experience includes stints with the NBA, Coca-Cola, Major League Baseball and the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. He also just completed serving as chairperson of the Licensing International board of directors.
