Eastern Michigan University, Gen.G Announce Esports Summer Collab
Eastern Michigan University is partnering with e-sports organization Gen.G for a summer program.

According to Esports Insider, a collaboration between Eastern Michigan University and Gen.G esports will include tournaments and an esports-themed summer camp.
“Eastern Michigan University created several innovative gaming programs — for prospective and current students, and alums — last year even while students were studying remotely,” says Chris Park, chief executive officer, Gen.G.
This collaboration will allow students to learn more about esports and to connect with professionals in the esports field through the Gaming Careers Speaker series,” says James Smith, president, Eastern Michigan University. “The purpose of the series will show students how to apply a traditional degree to the gaming industry. The overall interest among students in collegiate esports is reaching new levels every year. Having Gen.G, a recognized international leader in the esports world, as a partner is a tremendous asset to the University and our students.”
